The Kathmandu Belligerent Yetis are snowballing everyone in The Deuce - "Fighting Wombat" (aka GlennBills in Zealots) squad is 6-0 and averaging over 232 points per game, having drafted out of the 10 spot.  My Butte Badger have not scored that many points (yet) in a single game! Angry  Good news for me is that I do not face him on the schedule.  Kiss to the schedulemaker.

Sorry, but there is a chance that Johnson doesn't come back before week 11.  I know, it hurts me too.

Hey Taz I think you are referring to the Houston Chrohnicle article, They were wrong about A Green as well a few weeks ago. A Johnson is running and cutting at full speed as of yesterday. He is chomping at the  bit to get back to practicing with rest of team.

Consistent as hell - Won again to stay undefeated and scored 235+ point.  Anyone dominating any of the other Badlands leagues?

I will be nice and not mention who has the 0-7 team in B2 ...

Thanks for the props Kevin.

I have been reluctant to say anything here.  I'm on a great roll and I don't want to screw it up! LOL

I was not very happy with my draft.  I thought I reached on Brady, took TJ Housh and Steve Smith when I should have been taking RBs.  So far its working out as I am 8-0.  Although I'm optimistic, I know there is a long way to go to win the title.  I guess right now, I'm just enjoying the ride. Someone finally hung a loss on the Yetis - LCHawks by the score of 228.50 to 217.72.  Even if had started all the "correct" players this week, he would have lost by just over 1 point.  Job well done on both accounts.

Looks like some lucky bastard over in Badlands 3 is 9-1.  I hear he's also very good-looking and a hit with the ladies.

I am making out a "Special Christams list".....for the "drafting challenged" individuals of Badlands  Grin
It's a "Special list"  and right now Badlands #3 is the hands down favorite. Grin

Every member of Badlands 3 has been inducted into the Hall of Fame in Canton, regularly contributes to a nationally-distributed football magazine, can run a sub 4.5 forty, is a member of MENSA and has been nominated for a Nobel prize at least once.  And our schwanzes are huge.  (I peeked in the shower)

 Cheesy Cheesy

Good lord Man!  Shocked

My Apologies to Badlands #3, I'm am clearly a babbling idiot who is managing a pathetic 5-5 team that
simply does not know any better. Embarrassed
Please overlook my inability to understand the achievements that all have obtained in Badlands #3.
I'm going to go back and wash some dishes now.....I clearly got confused, I did not know where I was.

You Gentlemen have a great day Cool

Where's our Heart at?

I would gladly match the credentials of Badland 3 Owners to any other Badland Leagues....if that's what you would like to do?. I was just checking out your team and I'm sure you're use to the embarrassment  Grin..... c'mon now, we have a 2-9 owner that scored more points then you have Huh.

I will agree we could do some more posting in our League Forum, but most of us know each other from Xperts and are on each others YIM so we pretty much do our trash talking there.

Now if you're talking about competition. If we had to draft Owners all over again, there isn't a person I would draft different. If it's allowed, I'd be willing to make some type of friendly side bet, maybe something the loser would have to write in their sig line (within reason), that the Champion of League 3 will outscore the Champion in your League in the Grand Championship, I'll leave that up to you  Wink.

Now that's the Spirit!  Wink

That's what I'm talking about Puff!

As far as my team goes.....well the players don't listen to a damm thing I want, so i'm not sure How I can fix it?

I really think Badlands is doing great, alot of competition in all #4 leagues, It's going to be interesting.

Just remember Puff,

in Week #17 only the 4 champions that are left standing play, and the Top Scoring Team out of the 4 that week
Wins The Overall Badlands Title.

Then That Owner By Rule.....Has to take a picture with the Trophy!

And I got to tell you Puff, I think it's gonna be somebody from Badlands #1 Shocked

Also points scored to date are just for show....it does not matter how you get to the playoffs so
whether you have 2500 points or 2000 points a loss is a loss....and I sure would hate to be the feller
with the  most points at the end of the regular season only to lose and start off 0-1 in the Badlands playoffs Grin
It can and will happen.

It's not over yet............BADLANDS

unfortunately this year there will be a man named Brady that will boost some of the top scorers in each badlands. i think that finding the top badlands team would be difficult. one thing you should consider is potential points. also efficiency of starting lineups. (these can be found under power rankings). i think another thing to consider (IMO) is dropping the top scorer from each team being considered. some teams can be carried by a tom brady, randy moss, or even an LT from last year. i am a firm believer that a balanced team is more ideal than a team that is carried by a few or even one stud.

With all due respect to Birdog I couldnt disagree more. First let me say I do not have Brady and I am 9-2 w/ 2405 points for, but here is a look at the teams that do have Brady:

Badlands 1 The Berserkers 9-2, 2227 points
Badlands 2 The Yetis 9-2, 2415 points
Badlands 3 The Madness 5-6 2400 points
Badlands 4 The Humpbacks 7-4, 2151 points

Brady is having an outstanding year and regardless of that fact he is part of each of those teams. Just because he is performing above all expectations the team owner should be punished and have him removed from his/her team??? That is the most unfair and unreasonable thing I have ever heard in FF! How can you say we will pick the best team in the Badlands but you cant count your best players??? As you can see above just having a stud player does not equal FF dominance. The records range from 5-6 to 9-2 and the points for 2151 to 2415.

IMHO It is the best team in the Badlands not the best team minus the best players.
