SECTION 9

There are UP to 10 RFA's and are all the rest of the roster UFA's....or can you protect a certain amount of players? Huh

I didn't see anything about how many players you can protect from RFA & UFA....or is it NONE?

II. ROSTERS
A. Rosters may consist of any combination of players. Rosters are limited to 48 players.
B. Rosters may be expanded to 55 players from the start of the annual rookie draft until three days following the final NFL preseason game of the year. Rosters must be reduced to 48 players at midnight of the 3rd day. The additional seven players during this period of time are not limited to rookie players.
C. Each year, eighteen players will be designated for free agency 10 restricted free agents, 8 unrestricted free agents, allowing for 30 fully protected players.

You are protecting the other 30 players on your roster the UFA and RFA can be bid on at auction by any other team. WIth RFA's you get the winning auction total credited to your account. With UFA's you get nothing if the player is lost in auction.
