Right now I have Deangelo in there as he has looked good in the preseason.  However, L. White performed very well last year and will get a lot of carries.  Chambers is I threw in because of PPR.

Brees, MJD, S. Young, TJ Housh, G. Jennings, Cal. Johnson, T. Scheffler

Thanks guys.

Don't like the matchup for any of those guys this week.  Lendale against the Jags last year went for 72 yards and 0 TD and then 17 yards and 0 TD.  Even worse in 2006.

I think SD will beat Carolina (without S Smith) and focus more on running the ball so would lean DeAngelo over Chambers.  I think Carolina, although playing a normally good defense in SD, will try to establish DeAngelo and Stewart this week with Smith sitting out on suspension.

I went with Chambers. White is not a great receiver. DeAngelo will only be used as a change of pace back I believe. With Gates not 100%, I think Chambers sees a lot of targets against a Carolina def backfield that is average at best.

Yeah, I agree With Taz, Even though i think Carolina is going to be a good Team this year,
I don't think they'll hold up well against The Chargers.

Rivers appears to be Healthy enough and Gates could be slowed down alot the first couple of weeks,
It's a home game for The Chargers and a long flight for Carolina, This game could actually get ugly IMO
with Smith out, and Delhomme's first real action in a long time.

I Think The Chargers Roll along with Chambers and LT,

Chargers 31 Panthers 16

I went Chris Chambers (5 catches 55 yards) over L White (53 yards, 1 catch 7 yards) & D Williams (42 yards, 1 catch 10 yards).

I agree with the consensus that Chambesr is the way to go, especially with Gates still not at 100%.

Personally, I like Deangelo.  He's gonna run it AND catch some passes, esp w/ S Smith suspended & DJ Hackett questionable.  He should have at least double the touches Chambers would get.
