    Can he do it again?

As all fantasy owners know, Running Backs are key to the success of your fantasy team, which is usually why they create such heated debate in the off-season. Look at some of the most discussed RBs this off-season; Ronnie Brown, Laurence Maroney, Michael Turner, Julius Jones, not to mention all of the rookies, but for the purposes of this article, we will be looking at The Bucs RB Earnest Graham.

Graham came out of relative obscurity last season when The Caddy was put into the shop once again, to put up very respectable numbers; 898 yards rushing, 324 yards receiving and 10 TDs.

Some expect him to better these numbers and of course some do not, lol, hence it is why we are here.

Two of those crazy staffers at The Whiz just couldn't agree on his value, so they face off here to try to convince you one way or the other. So after reading this you too can decide if Earnest Graham is a good value or not.

So without further ado, we bring you The Great Debate: RB Earnest Graham, as told to you by Bill Cervi and Jim Day.

Being  a Earnest Graham Owner and a Brandon Jackson owner I got to admit that things happen,
Last year at this time ( Grant ) was just sitting there as a unknown as was Graham, and then it happened,
Brandon Jackson didn't perform and Grant Did, and Taz beat me to the waiver wire......and Bastaged Grant
right in front of me( I bet you thought I forgot huh Taz)  Wink and well the rest is history,
I picked up Graham instead and used him in place of
Alexander the rest of the year. So things can change quickly.

But to be Honest,

I do not see Graham as a Top 10 RB at all, However I think he has as good as chance as Grant to be
a Top 20 RB, That's right....I see some slippage with Both RB'S, but what I like about Graham is his Value
(PPR Leagues) he can flat out catch the Passes, He's got excellent hands as some may recall the 13 reception
game he had last year. Does Graham have the Team around him that Grant does? Of course not, but
I wouldn't anoint the Green Bay Passing game just yet, and that could be problems for Grant this year,
where as Graham is simply a target in the passing game in Tampa and I suspect he'll be targeted on a regular
basis coming out of the Backfield.

Sure Aaron Rodgers had a solid game against Dallas......but 15 passes does not anoint to make a NFL QB, keep that in mind.

All in all, I like Grant alot better then Graham in a non point per reception league, as I think Grant is more of the natural break away runner,

But In a PPR League Graham closes the Gap, and I think you'll be seeing both RB's finishing somewhere between 16th and 20th this season,
as I think Grant has some worries of his own with Brandon Jackson coming on strong and impressing the coaching staff in Green Bay and is
also the favorite to be in on Goal Line situations in 08, so I think what were looking at here.....is a situation where W.Dunn is a old tired RB
that may see the ball 5 times a game, which won't effect Graham much at all, where as it may be Grant owners who need to be asking themselves
how Many Carries is that Overpaid Young and vastly improved Brandon Jackson going to get?

I have him in 1 league and I'm totally torn on him for this year.

I do believe that he will get the majority of carries, but I don't think the Bucs are gonna do as well as they did last year as Jim says.

Overall, I do think he performs in line with last year which would put  him at top 12.

I think Graham outperforms his upper 2nd tier RB status.

He's an upper 2nd tier RB now? How big are your tiers?  Huh

I think you misunderstand my point.  I believe he will outperform his ADP.

He's being drafted as an upper tier 2 RB.  I say he'll post RB1 stats.

I don't believe Caddy is coming back this yr other than a change of pace back (so they can preserve their investment in him for next yr) & Dunn will be more of a 3rd down back.

Ok I got to  ask the Question  Wink

If Brett Favre ends up in Tampa Bay does this increase Earnest Graham's Value?

I think it would as I feel Favre is most assurdly a better QB then Garcia, and this would have
to open up some running lanes
Considering Galloway and Favre together would insure The Deep Ball,
which would put defense's more on their Heels, So  I'd have to say this could
really help increase Graham's value  to.
