Jay Glazer of FoxSports.com is reporting that The Redskins and The Dolphins have reached an agreement for dancer, oops, I mean DE Jason Taylor. The Dolphins will receive a 2nd round draft pick in exchange.

I went out for most of the day and return to see that Washington lost Philip Daniels for the season on day 1 of camp, ouch. Went to post the news, then saw that they lost a second one before I could even post about the first.  Shocked Alex Buzbee was the second one lost when he ruptured his achilles heel. Heck of a day for Washington.

Heck of a day for Bill Parcells. Parcells, waiting for a team to have a day like this, must have been licking his chops, because within hours of Washington losing the two DEs, Parcells got the 2nd round pick he has wanted for the ballerina, I mean stud DE.

Parcells always comes out smelling like roses.

I agree, Miami got what they wanted and then some, in a 2nd round pick. Washington didn't really have a choice after their misfortunes on Day #1.  Taylor should be happy about this as well.

did you see this?

Rotoworld) SI.com's Peter King writes that he heard a rumor "in recent weeks" of a three-way trade that might have sent Jeremy Shockey to the Saints, Jason Taylor to the Giants, and draft picks to Miami.
Analysis: The Dolphins would've gotten second- and fifth-round picks. The deal is dead now, but it's an indication that the Jints may still be shopping Shockey. King says he doesn't think the Shockey trade rumors will end anytime soon.
