 Shocked

Lets start talking draft.

Here is who I see as the TOP QB's:

Erik Ainge - Tennessee
Brian Bohm - Louisville
John David Booty - Southern Cal
Colt Brennan - Hawaii
Dennis Dixon - Oregon
Joe Flacco - Delaware
Chad Henne - Michigan
Josh Johnson - San Diego
Matt Ryan - Boston College
Andre Woodson - Kentucky

Odds are 1 maybe 2 of these guys will have any impact.  So who do you guys like (any not on my list).  I know the "experts" rank Matt Ryan, Brain Bohm, and Chad Henne on the TOP of their lists.

But here are the 2 I think could do something:

#1 Joe Flacco  - probably will be drafted in RD 3.  My sleeper...when I saw him he looked suprisingly agile for a 6'6".
#2 Matt Ryan  - probably the #1 drafted QB in RD 1.  The safe pick...but I really don't like him...you guys know I hate QB's and 1st Rd picks.

BUSTS:

#1 Colt Brennan - STAY AWAY from this guy.  He went to Hawaii for a reason...undersized.  Numbers are inflated.

Maybe we can get the ball rolling.  So who do you like....who will be a bust?

Nice post Run Hard.

No question Ryan is the #1 QB taken off the board.

Flacco has got been getting alot of attention lately for good reason.

Also, most mocks I have seen has Andre Woodson rated between low 1st and middle 2nd. Some even have him 1st QB rated.

Brian Brohm: Pretty sure if Petrino stayed, Brohm would of wound up in Atlanta.

Eric Ainge- Showed good leadership at Tenneessee, but that dosen't always equal starter in the NFL.

John David Booty: Not the best QB to come out of USC, but will get some looks due to them having a pro style offense in Southern Cal.

Guy who has made most strides in last month is Chad Henne. Looked pretty good at the Senior Bowl, and showed good command inside the huddle.

Agree for the most part with Brennan. In the right system could be a decent backup, but that is his ceiling in the NFL. For sure AFL starter. Wink

Another player who draws my interest is Dennis Dixon. Kid is a good athlete, and could see a move to WR in the NFL.

Have a updated list on early combine invites which I will post tonight.

Nice insight BK.

I have heard similar stuff on Henne.  I also heard rumors that Woodson stock was falling.  Once was projected 1st RD...now maybe late 2nd - 3rd.

Ainge & Dixon are unknowns for me.
