I'm a little worried about Addai vs BAL -- smelling single digit stinker.

I could bump CBuck over to RB slot.  For flex spot options I have:

Fargas @ NO (shutdown AP last week)
Engram vs GB (Charlie Frye could be starting  )
Holt @ WAS (it's STL -- double  )

I currently have Berrian vs DET in my WR2 slot -- but he's listed as Questionable (knee) after limited practice all week, but at least it's a 1 PM start if I need to pull him.

Well, he never acknowledged the trade (accept or refuse) in time for the week's trade deadline (Fri 23:59), so he's stuck w/ an inactive Westbrook.

I would have liked to get Colston, but I don't feel bad for not getting the trade.  I can start CBuck this week.  He did well @ CHI, and SF ain't no CHI !!! 

J.T.'s matchup much more difficult (on paper) than Garrard's, for sure.

I think it's a good move.

Right -- that was part of my trade offer.  Creampuff matchup for CBuck.

I play this potential trade partner next week, not this week -- so no chance of Westy/CBuck hurting me then.  And Fargas will be up against tough CAR run-D.

I'd sit tight on Carlson -- he's #2 receiving option behind Engram right now since Branch went down.  GB's secondary is beat up.

However, make a move on Fri night/Sat or Sun morning if Hass doesn't practice.

I'd rank Miller slightly ahead of Keller.  Too many other options for Favre.

I'm in the basement & was offered a trade by a team that is currently tied for 4th.  He put Colston on the trade block this week in search of RBs, and offered me this I guess when he got no offers:

Eli & Colston for Addai & Engram.

I told him no thanks.  I have Warner & Big Ben, so I don't need QBs.  He also has Westy & I have CBuck.  I just picked up Fargas off waivers this week.  I counter-offered CBuck (figure his value is highest this week) & Fargas for Colston.

He's desparate @ RB since Westy went down.  Only has Jamal Lewis vs NYG, Fragile Fred @ DEN, & Rudi @ MIN.

The nice thing is that I play him next week, so neither Westy or CBuck can hurt me, since PHI is on bye.

Thoughts on CBuck & Fargas for Colston?

Lynch & Barber underperformed (less than 100 yds & no TDS), as did Harrison.

I started Lance Moore over Engram.  I needed 11 pts from Moore to win -- sufficed to say, fell a little short.  Lost by 7.3 pts, but Engram wouldn't have made up the difference anyway.

I just got a gut feeling Holmes isn't gonna post stellar WR2 stats.  PIT's entire offense scares me.

And I had such high hopes for Holmes as an overperforming WR2...     Seemed like he & Big Ben were just plaing pitch & catch for TDs in the preseason...

Earlier in the week, I traded Owens for Addai & Holt.  I thought Holt was just a bonus throw-in to the trade.

Tonight, I traded TJones, C Perry, & Santonio Holmes for Marion Barber.

I now have 3 first round RBs on my squad (if the latest trade doesn't get vetoed).

With Warner as my QB1 and Harrison & Engram as my WR1 & WR2 -- I'm likely to make a move as soon as my roster is legal to add Lance Moore (WR, NO) -- I'm feeling really good here...  Or am I smoking crack???

It's a 10 team redraft, HP scoring league.  I'm 1-7 (double matchups/week), and need to basically run the table to get to the money.

Ya -- see if you can package Edge or Stewart w/ a WR to upgrade & then pick up McClain w/ your open slot.  As a former Maroney '07 owner, you'll be glad you did.  You'll never start him over Addai or Brown for the rest of the season anyway...

McClain, however, has all the makings of this year's Graham/Grant.

Kitna will likely put up better overall stats than Orton (despite the potential INTs).  Figure a crapload of running by CHI, since DET can't stop anybody.

DET gonna have to pass like mad to keep up since they're not gonna be able to run on CHI.

Orton will get the win, but Kitna more FF pts.

I can't buy a win...    Unless Santonio Holmes has the game of his life...

Moving forward, who has the biggest upside, both short & long term for the season:

Engram (SEA) or Lance Moore (NO).

Engram has age against him & Moore has had 14 catches the last two weeks while Colston & Patten have been out.  I'm in a quandry...

I agree -- chalk me up for Bruce over Norwood also.

Baskett is boom-or-bust.  Needs 1 really big catch to make his stats respectable.

NO WRs are a crapshoot -- never know who's gonna get the looks.

Take Mr Reliable (especially this year) -- Hines.
