The Cincinnati Bengals made two more moves Friday afternoon to address the team's defense, reaching a trade agreement with the Detroit Lions to acquire defensive tackle Shaun Rogers, and agreeing to terms of a new three-year contract with linebacker Dhani Jones.

The Bengals gave up a third-round and a fifth-round draft pick to the Lions for Rogers.

Multiple sources are reporting that former Atlanta Falcons' tight end Alge Crumpler is close to a contract agreement with the Seattle Seahawks.


The Seahawks run a West Coast Offense, and have lacked a true threat as a receiving tight end. Crumpler should see some nice numbers in Seattle, possibly even matching or exceeding his time as Michael Vick's favorite target (or at least only one he could actually hit).

The Miami Herald reports that Jacksonville Jaguars' free agent receiver Ernest Wilford has reached an agreement that will make him the newest Miami Dolphin, following receiver David Kircus on Thursday, and guard Justin Smiley earlier on Friday.

The Dolphins have also reached an agreement with former Giants' linebacker Reggie Torbor, but a contract had not yet been signed as of Friday afternoon.

In addition, the Dolphins have reportedly agreed to a trade with the Dallas Cowboys for defensive tackle Jason Ferguson.

Reports out of Seattle are indicating that kicker Josh Brown turned down a contract offer from the Seattle Seahawks that would have made him the highest-paid kicker in in the league, and that Brown does not plan to return to the team next year.

On Friday, the team completed a trade for Vikings' receiver Troy Williamson that had been reported earlier in the week, and signed free agent Jerry Porter to a long-term deal.


It is likely that Porter and Williamson will take up at least two of the top-three receiving slots on the depth chart, with Porter the likely #1.
