Pk 2.03 Ronnie Brown With the 3rd pick of the 2nd round Rod Hands selects RB Ronnie Brown of the Miami Dolphins.
Well as of now this is considered a gamble because obviously noone knows how he will come back after an injury but one things for sure... Brown looked like a demon before he went down last year... multiple TD games on a regular basis... there is no real competition in the backfield and with more than likely a rookie QB/ journeyman QB heading up Miami's offense next year you can expect the same amount of work he saw this year... an interesting fact is that brown proved himself as a reciever last year and so PPR seems to suit well... not as well as my projected pick though i wanted LYNCH!!!

Pk 2.02 Marshawn Lynch With the 2nd pick in the 2nd round Puff selects RB Marshawn Lynch of the Buffalo Bills.
This may be a little bit of a homer pick, but new Bills offensive coordinator Turk Schonert plans on using Lynch as an every-down back in 2008. This alone should add to his value. If Buffalo can pick up a solid QB or WR in the Draft or FA it should help Lynch avoid 8 men in the box.

Pk 2.01 Jamal Lewis With the 1st pick of the second round Chrislions selects RB Jamal Lewis of the Cleveland Browns.
With PPR scoring, it's very tempting to grap a top WR here, but that means no RB at all until 3.12 -- 36 picks into the draft ( :shudder: ). I just can't do it. Instead, I'll go with the guy who had a huge rebirth in Cleveland this year: Jamal Lewis. Not a great option for long-term success in a dynasty league and well-past his 2,000 yard rushing years, Lewis should still have solid value next year for the Browns. He topped 1,500 total yards and had 11 TDs this year, and will once again be a workhorse for the Browns (if contract talks pan out as expected).

Pk 1.12 Tom Brady WIth the 12th pick of the 1st round Chrislions selects QB Tom Brady of the Superbowl bound New England Patriots.
Picking 12th in any draft is always tough. Being a guy who leans heavily towards the traditional back-to-back RB-RB in the first two rounds, it's hard to overcome the urge to go scraping through the remaining RB's to try and find someone who is worth the reach.
But in this mock format, with 6 points for every TD including passing, this QB just holds too much value to pass over. Super Bowl bound and record-setting (4,800 yards and 50 TDs), Brady is the core of the explosive Patriots offense. While a return to more normal numbers is likley next year, there is no reason to think he'll fall too far, and will remain an elite QB. He's the player who can be most expected to carry a fantasy team, and makes a solid point to build from if you can't get one of the top RB's.

Pk 1.11 Willie Parker With the 11th pick of the 1st round Puff selects RB Willie Parker of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
With the passing game opening up a little more with Holmes and Miller (and Ward) he probably won't be running as much as he did this season, but he should have more room to work with. Throw in the fact he can score from almost anywhere he's worth a 1.11 pick.

Pk 1.10 Maurice Jones-Drew With the 10th pick of the 1st round Rod Hands picks RB Maurice Jones-Drew of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
At a bit of an empasse here as there was a couple of directions i could of gone but i figure to take the explosive MJD who plays on a perennial contender... i look for him to take over the snap ratios this year and still to be explosive on the return game
Like i said this was a choice of about 4 so.

Pk 1.08 Joseph Addai With the 8th pick of the 1st round, Tru Fan picks RB Joseph Addai of the Indianapolis Colts.
Addai is yet another in a long line of complete running backs for the Colts. He is as strong catching the ball and blocking as he is rushing. Addai is a very good receiver out of the backfield and drives the Colt's passing attack. This being a PPR I was thrilled to see Addai sitting here at 1.08
Numbers for 2008
1250 Rushing 50 Recections 400 Receiving 15 Tds

Pk 1.07 Larry Johnson With the 1.07 pick Jim Day selects RB Larry Johnson of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Many will feel this to be a reach for a player who only ran for 559 yards and 3 touchdowns in 2007. Of course this was only in 8 games, having missed the other 8 with a broken bone in his foot. The other things that most people are forgetting is the fact that he didn't have any offseason and only had a few carries in the preseason. He is only 28 and should see a full offseason and a season in 2008 where the running game will have to be featured while young QB Brodie Croyle continues to learn the position.
I look for Johnson to come close to 1500 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2008.

Pk 1.06 Frank Gore With the 6th pick Jaybebo selects RB Frank Gore of the San Francisco 49ers.
PPR + New OC Mike Martz = Frank Gore
Gore is one of the most explosive running backs in the league and even when nothing was available around him in San Fran when Alex Smith went down and Norv Turner to the express to San Diego he was still getting the most production out of this young offense. With the loss of Larry Allen, he could see a dip in rushing yards, but being in a pass-oriented offense with Martz has me envisioning the next coming of Marshall Faulk.
