With Michael Bennett being traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, there is a solid chance that the Kansas City Chiefs will have Priest Holmes available for Sunday.
Holmes is returning from the PUP list, and head coach Herm Edwards has said more than once that he could play at Oakland this week.
Holmes has made a career of proving people wrong, so don't count him out. He will be Larry Johnson's backup, but once he knocks some rust off, he just might be a very valuable backup to grab. |

ESPN.com reports that rookie quarterback Trent Edwards will remain the starter for the Buffalo Bills against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
This could very well mean the end of the Losman era in Buffalo. Lee Evans is right - the Bills need to stick with whomever they choose. With Losman considered healthy enough to return, this likely means that the team has made a choice - Edwards. |

The Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday decided to place wide receiver Tab Perry and safety Ethan Kilmer on injured reserve, ending their seasons.
Perry has been dealing with a hip injury, and Kilmer has not played in 07 due to a knee injury.
The team signed wide receiver Courtney Roby and brought CB Johnathan Joseph back to the active roster after he served his one-game suspension.
The Bengals have missed that effective WR3, and Roby might just be the ticket to fill that need. In the Bengals' offense, a decent WR3 still produces points, so keep an eye on Roby. |

As expected, the Arizona Cardinals on Tuesday signed journeyman quarterback Tim Hasselbeck.
With Leinart out for the year, and Warner expected to miss at least a week, the Cardinals are in need of some help on the QB depth chart. Don't expect to see Hasselbeck in a game unless Rattay gets hurt. |

Green Bay Packers' head coach Mike McCarthy said Monday that tight end Bubba Franks may miss "a couple of weeks" after sustaining a knee injury in Sunday's win over the Washington Redskins.
The Packers have a bye in week 7. Donald Lee will be the focus at TE with Franks sidelined. |

ESPN.com reports that the Arizona Cardinals are expected to sign quarterback Tim Hasselbeck after Sunday's game, provided that the team does not experience any additional significant injuries.
Hasselbeck will join Kurt Warner and Tim Rattay with Matt Leinart out for the season.
Hasselbeck will be the team's third quarterback, and not really worth considering in even the deepest of fantasy leagues. |

The St Louis Rams have cut veteran cornerback Lenny Walls in order to place defensive tackle Claude Wroten on the active roster as he returns from a four-game suspension.
Walls has started three games this season due to injuries in the secondary, but has struggled. The return of Tye Hill has made Walls expendable. |

The Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday signed long snapper Boone Stutz and fullback Fred McCrary, both formerly of the Atlanta Falcons.
Stutz will immediately step into the starting long snapper role, and the experienced McCrary should see a lot of time at FB. |

With Tom Nalen out for the season, the Denver Broncos signed offensive lineman P.J. Alexander on Wednesday to serve as a backup guard and center. Alexander is a former Bronco who played most recently with the Atlanta Falcons.
Alexander adds some decent depth, but with the injuries along the OL, it may not be long before he is forced to play extensively. |

The New England Patriots once again re-signed tight end Marcellus Rivers, this time releasing linebacker Chad Brown from the roster. 15-year veteran Brown has played in just one game for the Patriots this season.
Rivers keeps getting cut before he has a chance to make any waves. If he can get on the field consistently, he just might get a few looks... |
