The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a new contract with running back Brian Westbrook. He was scheduled to make $3 million this season and a $1.5 million roster bonus. The details of the deal were not released. Brian Westbrook is one of the most talented running backs in the league and he knew it enough to let the Eagles know he was underpaid for is contributions to the team. He had a solid 2007 campaign with the Eagles and, barring injury, should have an even better one with McNabb looking good in preliminary workouts this training camp.
