Browns' CB Baxter Undergoes Knee Surgery Print E-mail

Clevland Browns' veteran cornerback Gary Baxter suffered another setback in his continued recovery from tearing both patellar tendons back in 2006.

Baxter underwent an arthroscopic procedure to remove loose cartilage from his knee, and no timetable has been set for his return. Baxter sat out the entire 2007 season, but hopes to be the first player to ever return from tearing both patellar tendons. It is unclear whether this latest arthroscopic procedure will force him to miss an extended period of time.
