The Green Bay Packers have signed rookie wide receiver Jordy Nelson, who they selected in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft. The details of the deal have not been disclosed by the Packers front office. It will be difficult for Nelson to break into the starting lineup in his first season with the Packers. However, he should be able to push second-year wide receiver James Jones for playing time as the third receiver on the team.
