The deal is pending league approval and Shockey passing a physical. This really gives Brees another weapon and Kevin Boss now becomes the starter for the Giants.

Jay Glazer of FoxSports.com is reporting that the Saints and Giants have agreed to a trade for TE Jeremy Shockey. According to GLazer, the Saints gave up a 2nd and 5th round pick in the 2009 draft to get Shockey.
