The Carolina Panthers on Tuesday released linebacker Dan Morgan and offensive guard Mike Wahle.

Morgan has proven to be one of the most injury-prone players in the league, missing substantial time in each of his seven seasons in the NFL. Perhaps his most significant injuries have been the concussions he has suffered over the course of the last two seasons.

Wahle appears to be a salary-cap move. The release of both players will save the Panthers approximately $6 million on this year's cap.
