Bucs' FB Alstott Affirms Retirement |

 Tampa Bay Buccaneers' stalwart and fan favorite fullback Mike Alstott confirmed his intention to retire from the NFL on Wednesday, during a radio interview.
Alstott missed most of the season after suffering another neck injury. When it was revealed that he would sit out the remainder of the year, it was believed that he would likely bring his playing career to an end. As recently as last week, however, he insisted that he needed a little more time to make the decision.
The Bucs will miss Alstott, but don't expect him to be a stranger. It seems likely that the team will bring him on board in a non-playing capacity.
