On Wednesday, the Detroit Lions attempted to address their oft-torched defensive secondary by signing free agent cornerback Dovonte Edwards. Linebacker Donte Curry was released to make room on the roster. Edwards was one of the final cuts for the Minnesota Vikings, and spent some time with the Giants this year before Michael Strahan was activated. He just might be an upgrade, but not much of one. |
