The Detroit Lions on Monday signed free agent tight end Courtney Anderson, waiving rookie Rudy Sylvan to make room on the roster. The Lions need to try to fill some of the gaps left by placing Dan Campbell on injured reserve. Anderson has shown some promise in the past, but has been either inconsistent or just not good, and has failed to stick or earn playing time. |
