The Mercury News reports that Oakland Raiders' running back LaMont Jordan has been asked by the team to restructure his contract for salary cap reasons. A source close to the negotiations says that Jordan isn't sure he wants to restructure. As a result, there is a possibility he will be released.

Jordan is slated to receive a $4.75 million roster bonus on Wednesday and counts $7,15 million against the cap.
