The San Francisco 49ers and defensive end Bryant Young have agreed to a one-year deal, according to ESPN.com. The final years of Young's contract had been voided due to playing time incentives. It is believed the offer was for $4.25 millions which was the amount that was expected to be paid to Young for the 2007 season under his original contract. This will be Young's 14th season with San Francisco and is a valuable leader to the team.
