Adam Schefter of NFL.com reports that unrestricted free agent offensive tackle Leonard Davis has an two enticing reasons to head to San Francisco. First, the 49ers have the largest amount of money available under the 2007 salary cap with close to $40 million. Second, Davis would be reunited with his offensive line coach George Warhop, who tutored Davis during his time at Arizona. However, Dallas and Atlanta will be just as interested in getting Davis on their team.
