According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Green Bay Packers have reached a 4-year, $15 million contract extension agreement with defensive end Cullen Jenkins.
Jenkins was slated to become a restricted free agent on March 2nd. He started five games in 2006, but performed so well during the course of the season that he relegated veteran Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila to specialist duties. Keep an eye on Jenkins. Despite only starting 5 games, he still managed 6.5 sacks and 32 tackles opposite Aaron Kampmann. |
